This term we will be focusing on learning about the Hurupaki School Mission statement and the values that our School community has chosen as important for us.
We had an open day to celebrate and introduce these. This was held on Friday 13 November.
Our middle syndicate was allocated the theme of RESPONSIBILITY.
We prepared an item based on responsibility to present at our Values launch special assembly. We had an amazing orchestra of glockenspiels
to accompany us.

Last term we had fun learning all about Egypt.
We have written some acrostic poems that we have decorated and put up on the wall in Pod 6.
Be sure to check them out, because they look fantastic. You will be able to see that we have learned lots of different things about Egypt.
Matthew presented a great report about the Titanic.
Following this we have studied some books, poems and you tube clips to find more information about the topic.
